Empowering Students to Reach Their Full Potential
I have a proven track record in helping students both identify and secure offers for their chosen university / career choices. This includes guiding and encouraging students to maximise their potential in the lower sixth, as well as leading them through the personal statement and application stages of UCAS.
Recently retired as an outstanding Head of Department and Sixth Form Leader, I am thrilled to begin a new career sharing my expertise with all aspects of university admissions and provision of RS in schools.
With a degree in French and German from Cambridge University, I had a successful career in international relations, negotiating some major contracts and leading development of a major international agreement.
During a career break to have two children, I took a degree in Theology sponsored by Surrey University, and then spent a fantastic 15 years as an RS teacher, firstly at a leading boarding school then as Head of Department in an outstanding state school in Windsor. I transformed the department, significantly increasing the number of students choosing the subject in both GCSE and A level, and ensuring the relevance of Philosophy, Ethics and Religion to every day life. It was here that I also developed my interest in and expertise in helping students from Year 11 and sixth form reach their potential and secure their chosen career and university course. Originally Head of Sixth Form, I moved to a bespoke Sixth Form Enrichment Leader position, which resulted in exceptional support for sixth form students with many securing all five university offers, including record numbers at Oxbridge and in Medicine.
I am keen to continue to share my experience with both schools and individuals alike, whether with University applications, RS tuition, or helping school departments revitalise their RS provision.

Liz has grown her subject area into a thriving, successful department regularly achieving incredible results and has worked tirelessly with our sixth form students to ensure they receive the support and guidance needed to access the very top universities. She embodies our school spirit of Aspire, Advance and Achieve.
